Man, do we have the most wonderful models ever! Photogenics alum, Shaina Danziger, (model/author/activist) has spent the last four and a half months channeling her talent and energy towards a cause not many of us knew existed. The campaign, featuring Anthony Keidis of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Moby, Duff McKagan, Steve O and Matt Lucas, aims to raise awareness for an Animal Rights group based out of Hong Kong called Animals Asia which is an organization that is working tirelessly to put an end to both the cruel and horrific practice of bear bile farming as well as the cat and dog meat trade. The campaign has already been featured by NY Daily News, Vogue Italia, and Conde Nast Live.
And if the campaign photo doesn’t already tug on our heart strings enough, the campaign video, written and directed by Shaina herself, should do the trick! With a clever tagline “Let a Bear Shit in the Woods,” the campaign is a satirical PSA which Shaina hopes will grab the attention of animal lovers worldwide. It was a no-brainer for us! Check out the campaign including Photogenics models, Courtney Money, Therese Tabbert, and Giavanna Witted.
And yet ANOTHER hat tip to our killer runway booker, Emily DeTomaso, for landing our babies (Dakota Bottcher, Grace Cotton, and Nina Milner) in the latest Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 event set in the desert oasis of Palm Springs, CA with Bob Hope’s former home as a backdrop. Here’s a look at the event including a shot from the runway with Ally Ertel.
Well, Well, Well…Look at our little DAK making a cheeky appearance on the new Prada video series, “Postman Dreams” directed by Autumn DeWilde. We’re always pleased whenever we see Dakota’s latest on-screen adventures in our inboxes, and this one does not disappoint. Not even a little. Check it!
The day has come t0 finally share the news. We’re so proud of Ally Ertel for scoring this highly coveted spot for the Celine Pre-Fall 2015 presentation featured on Style.come and Vogue online. Only big things ahead for this lovely Florida native.
Ruffian designers, Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, took to the runway this spring with their new brand eponymous to their own surnames, Wolk Morais. Having recently found inspiration from the art, youth and celebrity culture of the West Coast, they have fittingly based the colorful, minimalist pop art brand right here in Los Angeles. Here’s a peek with our Photogenics Gals : Abigail Shields, Caroline Eastman, Diana Carl, Milan Dixon, Nikki Haroldson, Ciara Turner, Julia Cordova, Giavanna Whited, Krystall Schott, Brea Peck in Wolk Morais Resort 2016.
Make up artist and beauty documentarian, Robin Black, has done it again – an endlessly cool look at Spring beauty trends featuring an all star cast from Photogenics. Here are the highlights of our beauties Polina, Samie, and Zanna:

Wow, what a whirlwind these past couple weeks have been leading up to such an incredible night. On March 14th, 2015 we celebrated the release of our 2nd annual Art Book including PhotogenicsMAG Art Book Issue No.11. It was our first time doing a pop up gallery Group Exhibition featuring the work of contributing artists, and I can proudly say that it won’t be our last. AND having Steve Lee and Clinton Van Arnam DJ’ing plus a live set by my good friends The Buttertones was such an honor. THANKS, GUYS!
Fashion + Art + Music … A fucking fantastic night. Thanks to everyone involved!
