Hey friends!!! It’s the agency’s 11th year in business as a steadily growing and expanding mainstay in the industry. We’ve recently moved into some extremely stylish digs at the BLACKWELDER Creative Campus on La Cienega, added 2 new ass-kickers to run our Commercial Division (Anna and Amy, you’re the best!!), and at the moment our roster is pretty boss and is continuing to grow into this super solid collection of babes. Yet, even though we’re on to a bigger, better, and brighter future, we’ll always keep it right and tight with the family vibes, and I think that’s what makes Photogenics such a special thing.
So, to the New Blood: We’re super excited to welcome you to the Photogenics Fam. We’re a team, we work together, and we’re about to KILL it!!! #FistBump – M -
Featured in this post are just a few of our newcomers. Click to view full portfolios and visit www.photogenicsmedia.com to see more new additions to our board.
Suuuuuuuup….Mel here. Hope you all loved the last issue of photoGENICSmag as much as I do. A big thank you to the home-slice-tenderoni, Nicci Arone, for filling in while I was off getting inspired in Indonesia. I’m back and feeling pumped about pretty much everything except for my F’d up sleep schedule. So last night in a desperate attempt to get back on track, I took an Ambien and had the most gnarly dreams which were scary but also injected me with this weird creative current. Basically, I’m feeling pretty unstoppable at this point, and I’m ready to pump out some great content and a radical Issue No.6. But more on that later.
Today, I want to introduce you to the lovely Virginia. This Dutch beauty just arrived and is ready for some work/play. Welcome to LA, Virginia!!!
Everyone say ‘SUP! to Jesse Somera, the newest member of our crazy, dysfunctionally functional Photogenics family. No-brainer!!! He’s an all around good guy, a babe of all babes who takes dope photos, skates heavy every day, and just happens to be homies with 50% of our board. This is obviously an exaggeration, but he definitely hangs tough with the best of them. His blog, Mad Thirsty, is one that I visit when I’m feeling a little down, and since he’s already contributed some photos for a couple of my previous posts, I invited him to become an official Photogenics blog contributor.
Stay tuned for MADTHIRSTY x Photogenics, comin’ atcha reeeeeeal soooon. Welcome to the fam, Somera!!! - M -

Hanna just touched down from Ukraine to spend some time in sunny California. We’ve learned a lot about her already in the short time since she landed. She’s an artist, painter, photographer, and all around down-ass-chick. Welcome Hanna!
ISAAC‘s back in town, and we couldn’t be more jazzed. I was even able to get her on an editorial for Photogenics Mag!! Shot by Nicole Anne Robbins, featuring our boy Dakota which will be coming out with the release of Issue Four at the end of this week. All I have to say is she was like a dream to style…legs for DAYS and a killer face! I couldn’t have asked for a better model.
Ummm…It’s 2013. Dude, you guys…it’s 2013!!! When I was a kid, I pictured straight space-age shenanigans, and I seriously thought that The Jetsons would be the norm…teleportation and flying cars, and FIERCE futuristic fashion. But alas, people are still fighting over stupid shit, so how can we really be that far advanced? But I digress. Every new year we marvel at how fast the previous year flew by, but 2012 in particular flashed before us like lightning. Let’s be real here. It’s probably because of all the RADNESS we got ourselves into.
For our first post of the year, I thought I’d start off with a little BABE ALERT action to get your icy winter blood pumping. MASHA RUDENKO‘s back in town and looking better than ever. During her last visit, she did some sweet editorials: Riders Magazine with Jason Lee Parry, the cover story for Oyster Magazine with Zoey Grossman, Flaunt Magazine with Kate Martin, and has since shot for Marie Claire, Vogue, Grazia Germany, and Turkish GQ. She’s a regular muse for photographer and fine artist Peter Eaton Gurnz and has a passion for the art world that fuels her obsession for travel. In other words…Bad.Ass.Chick. Welcome back, Masha!
